Netbooks – Take Them Or Leave Them?
So I just got my first netbook. It is a Dell Insiprion mini 9 with 512 mb of ram and an 8GB solid state media drive. This laptop (or net book) is tiny. The screen is bright and crisp and the track pad is very responsive. The only negative feedback I could give today is the fact that the keyboard is small. Buy a Laptop or a Desktop
To laptop or desktop, that is the question. For years I have urged clients to go with desktop computers. They are easier to upgrade, easier to fix and offer a higher ratio of computing power to dollar over a laptop. Secondly, it is usually easier to sit at a desk and use a large LCD monitor and sleek keyboard and mouse. Your laptop track pad would be numbing your finger from all the late night surfing.
